Josh Sterling graduated from Sonoma State University (SSU), located in California in the heart of the Sonoma County Wine Country. After graduation and a successful college soccer career, he spent 8 years as an Assistant Coach for the men’s soccer program at SSU. In 2002, Josh helped lead the team to the college’s 1st ever national championship. During those years, he began his own business, Sterling Soccer, and he created the Sonoma County Alliance soccer club which became one of the top clubs in Northern California. As the director of coaching, he saw the club grow from four to twenty-six teams and he directed over 20 coaches and trainers.
As a Certified College Planning Specialist (CCPS) and Education Loan Analyst (ELA), Josh helps families design a plan to afford the high cost of higher education. His goal for every client with college bound children or grandchildren is to reduce the “sticker price” of college and maximize the client's resources. Josh's process includes helping his clients with financial aid, tax, cash flow, education loan and family specific planning while protecting their retirement and/or business’ future.

Having worked with many high net worth individuals and business owners Josh and the Camas Consulting team helps his clients maximize their wealth by avoiding the various tax traps that accompany business continuation, retirement and estate planning.
Josh and his wife, Kristy, and their two sons make their home in Windsor, CA.
